My unconventional journey
Before my journey as a designer started, I had a passion to teach by focusing on how each individual student learned and changing how I taught so everyone could understand the curriculum. Although I loved my experiences as a student teacher, I knew I wanted to explore a role that had a mixture of art and psychology. My passions for art and psychology led me to pivot to product design.
Starting my product design journey led me to many opportunities like creating a design system from scratch, being a design lead for internal tools, and collaborating with data analysts to create easy to read dashboards.
With these opportunities, I was able to learn and apply these skillsets to my day-to-day work like design strategy, visual design, motion design, storytelling, and research design.
